*chapter 2: roller*

it's been a good hour since the six-wheeled buggy left his company; the big red and blue robot raises his head towards the sky, squints as the scorching sun glares back in return, then re-focus his sights towards the little town up ahead.

"roller should be back by now." he says to no one in particular.

the trailer revs a suggestion. "yeah, maybe we should go on in after him." replies the big red and blue robot. he gathers his gear and mounts the trailer.

"damn roller better not fall asleep on the job again." he mutters as they ride of in the direction of the town.

*end interlude*

"dodgetron" a sign read, as the big red and blue robot and his trailer arrives unceremoniously into town.

as the locals leer at the his arrival suspiciously, the big red and blue robot surveys his surrounding; a main street flanked by rows of indiscrete low-rise structures, the buildings actually seem well-maintained, but don't exactly look inviting from the general upkeep of the place. a large townhall can be seen at the end of the thoroughfare.

(amongst the townsfolk that were cautiously eyeing the big red and blue robot was a particularly small, yellow robot, who discreetly kept pace.)

one building caught his optics in particular; a few micromaster mobile bases (and a deluxe pretender vehicle shell) was parked in front of it with a large sign hanging over the entrance - "BAR". as the big red and blue robot steer the trailer towards it, a staccatto of gunfire ring from inside the bar. the trailer halts in its tracks. unperturbed, the big red and blue robot snaps the reign, gesturing the trailer to continue on its way.

the big red and blue robot had just dismounted and was about to park his trailer when a loud crash came from behind him, as a blue, six-wheeled scout vehicle flew through the bar front window and landed with a splash in the oil feeder (for parked transport vehicles).

the big red and blue robot raises an optic brow, and addresses the trailer.

"roller." the big red and blue robot sighs as the trailer rolls its eyes (which is remarkable in itself since its head is comprised of a cockpit which has no eyes, much less pupils).

as the bid red and blue robot assisted the six-wheeled buggy - sputtering beeps and revving erratically, splashing oil around - out of the feeder, the bar front door swings open, its hinges creaking sharply in the stale air. a red and light blue robot with distinctive shoulder intakes steps out purposely.

he pulls out a cigarette from a pocket in his poncho, strikes a match at the door frame and lights up intently. he leers sideways at the the big red and blue robot and the six wheeled buggy - still clambering wildly out of the feeder. puffing the cigarette, the robot with the distinctive shoulder intakes smugly remarks,...

..."your friend's not much of a dancer, is he?" with a smirk.
